Giving everything you've got in the studio is important, but in many cases it's the things you do after working out that actually make it count. And we certainly don't need to be told twice to treat ourselves every now and then 💅🏽

"You Can Dance On My Pole..."

Saturday Aug 01, 2020

Saturday Aug 01, 2020

How many of us heard that phrase above? Probably every single pole dancer has encountered this reaction or at least a similar one. In this 10th(!) episode special, I read out loud (and highly criticize) humanity's top reactions to girls on poles.

You might think that pole dancing ends once you step out of the studio, but in our sport that is definitely not the case. Spoiler: dating life is actually easier for us pole dancers.

Once upon a time, in a pre-covid19 world, we used to have pole competitions. Although we can't say how long it will take until we can compete again, we can still prepare! Listen to this episode in which I take you through all the steps you need to take in order to participate in a competition (and hopefully win!)

Saturday Jul 11, 2020

Saturday Jul 11, 2020

How do you still feel sexy in pole class while being surrounded by numerous gorgeous ninja divas? In this week's episode I dive deep into self esteem issues, feelings of success and of failure, and reminding you all who you're doing it for. (The title says "Woman" but is addressed to all genders)

Getting Back On The Pole

Saturday Jul 04, 2020

Saturday Jul 04, 2020

COVID-19 caught the whole world unprepared and made all of us take an unfortunate break from pole. In this week's episode I share my own experience about my longer-than-expected break, what it's like to be back and also how riding a bicycle and pole dancing are now the same. (The only difference is that I never learned how to ride a bicycle.)

...Try, try again. But what if you've been trying for months and you just can't seem to do that trick? In this week's episode I share some advice on how to not give up on a trick (and on pole in general) when you feel stuck and frustrated. Also, we have a new Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/The-Pole-Project-102477938190408/

Saturday Jun 20, 2020

I asked my pole friends (and myself) what is the magical ingredient in pole dancing and why is it like nothing else you've done before.
Side note: I am not in any way a doctor or a nutritionist. Obviously cheat meals and deep fried things are life but I am NOT saying you should eat those every day. (Just saying that when you do you shouldn't beat yourself up about it 😉) also this is just my own experience with my body, so keep in mind everyone is different!

Saturday Jun 13, 2020

Saturday Jun 13, 2020

Is it Pole Dance or Pole Sport? Can you be an athlete if you're also a dancer? And is there a way to do both? Listen to this week's episode to find out!

Saturday Jun 06, 2020

Sometimes, failing is the best way to learn. But it would be REALLY nice if someone had told you not to do those things before pole class. Don't worry, I got your back.
